of Leicester Speedway Supporters Club costs £10.00 Adults and £5.00 Concessions
per year. You will receive a regular Newsletter through the post and invites to
the social functions, you can attend all the Club meetings. Come and meet the
Committee, enjoy a pint and chat about Speedway past, present and future.
Some of your subscription money will be spent on Newsletter production, Rider reunions, and most importantly, help towards the cost of bringing Speedway back to Leicester. The Long Eaton Speedway Reunion Group are holding
their popular free to enter Film and Quiz Night on the 3rd March 2010 at the
Krush Bar, Clifford Street, Long Eaton, Nottingham at 7.30pm. Everyone is
welcome to come along and share in an evening of nostalgia and brain teasers.
There will also be a raffle.

 British Grand Prix-Coach trip Anyone wanting a seat on a coach down to Cardiff can contact LSSC member Dave Towers: 07976652299. This is NOT a LSSC organised coach AGM This years AGM will be held at Anstey Lane social club, Anstey Lane. Opposite the Blackbird pub The date is 13 April . Members will receive notices with the next newsletter. Challenge Match Leicester Lions have been Invited to be the 2010 season openers for Rye House Rockets on Saturday 20th March. LSSC is running a coach down to this fixture and will be taking in a trip to the Speedway Museum before travelling on to the Challenge match. The coach will leave Leicester at midday Prompt! From outside Anstey Lane Social Club opposite the Blackbird Pub Adults £10 Concessions £9 Under 16 £9 You are advised not to park in the Blackbird Pub car park as they now operate a strict no parking policy to none patrons and you may be clamped!!! One of our Vice Presidents, Vic White has negotiated a very generous 50% discount on the entrance fee to the Paradise Wildlife Park for everyone on the coach (now just £8.00). Also, there is a chance of a lifetime for 2 or 3 of the coach party to have the opportunity to feed the Tigers/Lions. A draw for this will take place on the coach before arriving at the park. Shawn is currently in hospital in Colchester. Ken and the team helping Shawn with his recovery are keen to play the footage to him at his bedside.
